Favorite Quotes of the Day:

“Long term success is built on credibility and on establishing enduring loving relationships with quality people based on mutually earned trust. Cut all ties with dishonest, negative or lazy people, and associate with people who share your values. You become who you associate with.”   —    Dave Kekich

” The love that gushes for all is the real elixir of life – the fountain of bodily longevity. It is the lack of this that always produces the feeling of age.”  — Josiah Gilbert Holland

Favorite Quote of the Day: “Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers… “

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”   —    Apple Inc.

If you do not control the stories that you are living, then you’ll be living someone else’s story…

I found this phrase by Dr. Joseph Riggio as a remarkably moving….

He said: ” The first and most important thing that you can do is to reshape the story that we are all living. We first have to shape the story that we love ourselves until you know who you are. You can’t know what’s possible for the world and you’ll sacrifice the future of our children, and your children’s children simply because you didn’t know what story says.”

What a Genius..? Do I ever think of the kind of stories that are going on in my life now? Whose story am I living currently?

It takes me back to my childhood, sat on my daddy’s lap listening all the stories my mummy & daddy told me. These stories have cemented and shape my life into who I am now. They often come up to surface each time I am faced by difficult situations..Therefore I am now looking upon my children – what kind of story should I tell them? Will these stories shape their future?

In times of trouble.. there are lots of voices repeating in my head. Do they relate to the stories I’ve listened before? Is that my true voice or gut instinct that tries to give clues to me as to where I should go next? How will I know which one I must listen to..? Do I have courage to make that decision..? – I believe we all are given the ability to know what is best for us, but… do we recognise it? Have we trust in our own gut instinct..?

If you have a problem with a member of your family who is negative, begin by writing a list of all the things you appreciate about that person…

“If you have a problem with a member of your family who is negative, begin by writing a list of all the things you appreciate about that person. Remember to include gratitude to them for giving you a great desire for positivity in your life; because that is a gift they are giving you. As you focus with all of your strength on appreciation, you will not only reduce your exposure to the negativity, but at the same time you will be attracting positive people into your life.”
